A big thank you to all the students who participated in the Craft Maker’s Club!  We were so impressed by the hard work, creativity and care that went into creating each birthday card for our children in Foster Care.  These cards will mean so much to each of them, knowing that it was made with so much love!

Craft Maker’s Club is one of our student volunteer programs this summer.  With the first one that kicked off in the first two weeks in July, there are still three projects left this summer, each with a designated theme and beneficiary of Mother’s Choice.

  1. July 6-17 – A project to support Foster Care
  2. July 20-31 – A project to support Fundraising.
  3. Aug 3-14 – A project to support Children Services
  4. Aug 17-28 – A project to support Volunteer Engagement

We are honoured to have Elaine Ng, editor and publisher of the ArtAsiaPacific magazine as our special guest judge.  She is hugely impressed by all the hand-made birthday cards, that showed much creativity and joy.  Extending her congratulations to every one who participated, Elaine look forward to seeing more from the budding artists in the next rounds.

Elaine shared her words of encouragement on the impressive entries.
